Half a year has gone by in the blink of an eye. Our little Ezra isn’t so little anymore! I am terribly late with this one, since Ezra actually turned 6 months at the end of April, but we have been busy. Spring time hits hard around here and this year is no exception. Better late than never, I suppose.
Ezra didn’t gain much weight this month, or maybe the scale was off last month. He is still around 75th percentile though and is eating like a champ. He has 2 teeth and has started eating solids as of 6 months. Once again, we are doing baby led weaning. It is a way to introduce solids by skipping purees and beginning with table food. I recommend the book Baby Led Weaning by Gil Rapley if you are interested. We have found that our kids have really enjoyed learning this way and it helps with fine motor skills as well.
Ezra celebrated his first Easter and visited Lambeau Field for the first time when we celebrated Grandpa’s birthday. We have had so many big occasions and celebrations in Ezra’s 6 months!
Ezra is a happy baby. He sleeps through the night and is spoiling us. Obviously, 3 kids has presented challenges all on it’s own, so we are grateful for an easy going baby. His brothers are head over heels in love with “Ezzy” and he is constantly being squished with hugs and kisses. He loves every minute of attention and is starting to get separation anxiety if we walk away.
These 6 months have been some of the best of our lives. Seeing these boys grow together is amazing. We are really looking forward to this summer and all the fun we will have. Hopefully when things slow down I will have some more updates. In the meantime, make sure you are following along on Instagram.
