January was quite a month for us! Ezra turned 3 months old and he has grown so much. He also had a rough case of pneumonia, which put him in the hospital for 3 days at the end of the month. He is still a very happy baby, who smiles every time he hears his brothers.
I took Ezra to the pediatrician to be checked out when his breathing got difficult. He was diagnosed with bronchiolitis. The next day his breathing got worse and we rushed him to the ER where he got a breathing treatment and x-ray. The x-ray determined his cold had turned into pneumonia.
Ezra got his first ambulance ride because he needed to be transferred to another hospital, where he was put on oxygen to help him rest. While he was in the hospital, Ezra lost over half a pound because he was having so much trouble eating. We are back on track now though, and you would never know he had been so sick.
Ezra has started to giggle when he is tickled or when his brothers are being goofy. He is so close to grabbing objects too! We are entering my favorite baby stage where they seem to learn something new every day. It helps that he sleeps great now too. Ezra is such a great baby!
